Recieving Him Is Believing

What His Name Means

Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in His name, he gave the right to become children of God.” (John 1:12, NIV).

We have seen that His name Yahshua means “Yah is Saviour.”  This is what we need to receive into our hearts!  Our hearts are hard, and we are set in our ways, and we just do not want to give up our old teachings about His name.   We do not want to take in the new wine; we want to hold on to the old concepts about His name.  And we do have old concepts  about His name.  Most believe that His name is “Jesus” and that magically, all one has to do is say the magical words, “In Jesus’ name” and, poof, we will get our desires.  We call Him “Jesus,” and that is not His real name!  And, besides, the name “Jesus” has no meaning.  His real name “Yahshua,” however, is full of meaning in the Hebrew—FOR OUR OWN HEARTS!  Yahweh is the Saviour, and we must take this meaning into us!  We must receive Him.  For this is believing in His name!  Believe what the name “Yahshua” means!  And then He gives us the right to become His sons and daughters!  His true Hebrew name is Yahshua, and that Hebrew name means, “The Self-Existent One Is Saviour,” or “The Self-Existent One Is Salvation.”  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given whereby man must be savedActs 4:12.

If you say that you believe in the Constitution of the United States, what are you really saying?  You are saying that you assent to its tenets and articles, that you agree with its precepts and ideas, that you put credence into what the Constitution says.  In other words, you simply believe in what it means.

In like manner, if you say that you believe in the name of the Son of God, then you are saying that you believe in what it means.  But, in order to believe in what the Master’s name means, you first need to know what His true name is and then acquire its meaning.

It is now known that the Master’s true Hebrew name is Yahshua. As in most biblical Hebrew names, this name has a specific meaning. It means “The Self-Existent One Is Savior.” In order to “believe in  the name of the only begotten Son,” one must believe in its meaning: The Self-Existent One is Savior.

To do this will bring you to a awareness that Yahweh  is the Savior. All the way through the book of Isaiah Yahweh says that He is the Saviour.  For I am Yahweh thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour. Isaiah 43:3.  Now, wait a minute.  How can the Creator Father Yahweh of the Old Testament be the Savior?  Yet, Yahweh declares many times that He is the Savior.  I, even I, am Yahweh; and beside me there is no saviour. Isaiah 43:11.  The revelation is that Yahweh, who is invisible, manifested Himself in human form in the man called the Messiah.  “I and my Father are one,” He said.  Paul said that “God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself.”

All of this is inherent in the name Yahshua.  This is what His name means.  It is all inside the name; the meaning is inside His name.  Go inside what His name means, and you will find the whole plan of God!  You will find Yahweh as the Savior, coming down to save His people from their sins.

He gives authority and power to become His children to those who believe on or in His name. John 1:12.  To receive  Him  is  to  believe  in  His name, to believe in His

nature, His character, which is what His name speaks of.

Many believed in His name, when they saw the miracles which He did.  John 2:23.  Why would they believe in His name when they witnessed the miracles?  The Master Himself said that the miracles He performed were not done on His own, but the power was given by the Father within Him.  So when the people saw the miracles, some of them realized that the Father was dwelling fully in Him and that it was the Father who was doing the works.  They believed in His name “Yahshua” because they saw in action that it had to be Yahweh doing the wonderful works.  They realized that it was Yah, the Self-Existent One, who was healing them and raising their dead.  And which is easier to do—to forgive sins or to heal the sick?

The miracles showed that it had to be the very Father clothed in human form (which is what the name Yahshua means).   Yah-is-Savior  is  His  name.   Our  salvation by Him is a miracle.  In John 3:18 it says that they that “believed not are condemned already.”  Why?  Because they have not “believed in the name” of the Savior, Yah in human form.  It is a code—“believe in the name.”  Inside the true Hebrew name of the Saviour is found the central revelation that God wants His sons to get.  In fact, the future manifested sons of the living God are the ones who will get the revelation as to the meaning of His name.

He Came in the Father’s Name

In John 5:43 the Master said that he came in His Father’s name, and “you receive me not…How can you believe…that seek not the honor that comes from God only?”  In the same verse (44) John mentions how people honor each other and seek that honor but do not seek the honor that comes from God.  People honor one another’s name, in “honor preferring one another.”

A hypothetical example:

“There’s someone here to see you.”

     “What’s his name?”

     “Mr. Smith.”

     “Oh, I’ll see him, then.”

In this scenario the man’s name represents who or what the man is.  The name is a symbol of who that person is inside.  When any name is spoken, images as to what kind of person he is will arise in the mind of the hearer.  The person above who saw Mr. Smith, saw him based only on a pre-determined reputation capsulated in the name “Mr. Smith.”

The name “O.J. Simpson” does not bring up images of a fluid hall of fame running back anymore.  That name now is synonymous with a lying, cold blooded murderer.

If the name spoken is one of a great man, his name tells people of his nature, character and achievements.  All of this about this person is “in the name,” in his name.  The great man is Mr. Smith in our example.

Now, let’s replay the above scenario.  It is not Mr. Smith personally who comes calling.

     “Someone’s here to see you.”

“Who is it?”

“He says his name is Joseph Johnson.”

“I don’t know him.”

“He says he is Mr. Smith’s executive assistant and has a message for you from Mr. Smith.”

“Oh, in that case, send him on in.”

In this scenario Joseph Johnson comes in the name of his employer, the famous and honorable Mr. Smith.  It is the strength and weight of Smith’s reputation that opens the  door  for  Joseph Johnson.  The host welcomes Johnson as if it were Smith himself.  Johnson is afforded the honor afforded his employer Smith.  Johnson is only honored because of Smith’s good name.  Johnson is received as if it were Smith, because of Smith’s good name and reputation.

Joseph Johnson would not have been received by the host in a different scenario.  For instance, if the host had not believed that Johnson was really Smith’s secretary, he would have rejected him.  Or, if the host did not believe that Mr. Smith had an assistant or had sent him, he would have rejected Johnson.  Either way, it hinges on the host’s belief in the name of Smith.

Now, to make the analogy real to us.  Yahshua of Nazareth said that He came in the Father’s name.  He said that the Father  had sent him…

“There’s someone here to see you.”

“Who is it?”

“Says his name is Yahshua.”

“Really?  Never heard of him.”

“Says he’s the Son of God and has come in the Father’s name.”

“No.  The Son of God’s name is Jesus and the Father’s name is Jehovah.  I never heard of anyone by the name of Yahshua.”

“He says that his Father lives inside Him and that His Father is Yahweh.”

But to as many as received Him to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them who believe upon His name, who were born not of the will of man but of God.  John 1:12.  We must know His name and who sent Him and who dwelt within.  Believing in His name is believing in what His name means.  And receiving Him is believing in what His name means.  And the Saviour’s name YAHSHUA means this:

Yah {The Self-Existent One}

Is

The Savior.
